Fortnite Stadium

We used Verizon 5G to build a virtual stadium in Fortnite so fans could have a Super Bowl experience at home.

The Super Bowl was supposed to be a big opportunity for Verizon to show off the power of its 5G service live to a stadium full of fans. But Coronavirus changed everything. Access was limited, the usual crowds remained home under lockdown and was up to us to make sure 5G still made a splash.

Since fans couldn’t come to the stadium, we brought the stadium to them, in one of the most popular games out there: Fortnite. The activation won a gold Andy and was nominated for fourteen one show pencils.
